Land Development

At Staig & Smith we offer an integrated Surveying and Engineering service to the Land Development Industry, which is utilised time and again by professional land developers.

Our Land Development Engineering services integrate the design of roading along with sewer, stormwater and water pipelines, power and telephone cabling and any earthworks required.  This integrated approach to engineering design ensures all services, roading and earthworks are correctly inter-related within an accurate survey model of the topography.

Engineering designs are calculated by either SDR, CivilCAD or 12 D software allowing computer generation of plans and calculation of volumes and quantities.

OUR DIVISION

Staig & Smith’s team of Surveyors have experience in a wide range of land developments, including subdivisions with complex servicing requirements, and within sensitive geographical or geological areas.

Although based in Nelson, the Land Development Division is transportable to other areas within New Zealand. They provide regular Land Development Services to clients in Motueka, Golden Bay and Marlborough, and are available for projects outside of the region.
